Un annex tiene dos modos de operación. El de monitor y el de operación. Cuando arrancamos el dispositivo, después de pasar las comprobaciones rutinarias, el dispositivo arranca la imagen de BOOT almacenada.

Para entrar en el modo de monitor, apagaremos el dispositivo y lo encenderemos mientras pulsamos el botón de test. Este se quedará encendido.

All of the commands will prompt for any additional
information they need, and require no arguments.

  • addr: este quizás es el más importante. La configuración de direccionamiento IP de estos dispositivos es independiente de la imagen, se configura mediante el comando addr, que una vez ejecutado ofrece un breve diálogo a través del cual se configura la interfaz de red.

Una vez introducido boot (o bien durante un arranque normal) estaremos en el modo de operación. El dispositivo está ahora dando servcio. Con el comando help podemos listar los comandos disponibles:
